Jessica Himmer - Leading the way to a Bright Future

I'm Jessica Himmer a proud big sister, proud godmother and proud graduate of Viterbo University. I grew up in Stewartville, MN with my three siblings Melissa, Heidi and Dan Jr. and parents Dan and Kathy Himmer. Being a big sister helped me to form my leadership roles from a young age. My parents developed and managed many businesses, therefore starting also my interest in business from a young age. During high school I was actively involved in organizations which further developed these business and leadership skills.

In 2002 I made the big move to La Crosse to attend Viterbo University to pursue a Business Management degree. While at Viterbo I made more lifelong friends, gained many interesting stories as I was an RA for two years in the freshman dorm, help start the first La Crosse Colleges Relay for Life and through my role as a tour guide I ambitiously worked to recruit more students to this great school.

At the start of my senior year I decided to venture beyond the walls of campus and seek a job in the community. A server at the La Crosse Country Club is where the story began. Now nine years later I have moved up the ladder from server, to office assistant, to banquet manager and now as Clubhouse Manager. It has been a very exciting adventure filled with many growing opportunities for this first time manager.

In my time away from my career I love to spoil my 3 year old godson, relax with a good book, share a great glass of wine with some friends, cross off bucket list travel places such as Ireland and go home to visit family while enjoying a great home cooked meal from mom.
